BIRD BALLAD Fun Fold Bridge Card
with Mini-Card Back
from YouTube Live 6/25/19
featuring Stampin' Up! products

This card was the most fun.  I have a new love for making Bridge Cards (also known as U-Fold Cards) now.   After I made one as a Paper Pumpkin alternative, I wanted to make another one, and so it came to be for my YouTube live on Tuesday evening.

I love how this card turned out.  The addition of the little card on back (with stamped sentiment inside) allows room to write.

Also, this card does fold down to an A2 size for mailing, although it has a little bit of bulk so may require a tad bit of extra postage (because of the back piece).

Here are the measurements:
1)  Card Base - 8" x 4-1/4", Scored at 1-1/4", 2-1/2", 5-1/2", and 6-3/4".  Fold to form the U. (Crumb Cake Card Stock)
2)  Bridge piece (Pool Party Card Stock) - 1-1/4" high x 5-1/2" wide
3)  Inside back mat - 2-3/4" Wide x 4" High (Pool Party)
4)  First Panel Layer on 4 smaller panels - 1" W x 4" H (2 = Pool Party, 2 = Daffodil Delight)
5)  Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (DSP) layer on Inside Back - 2-5/8" x 3-7/8"
6)  DSP on 4 smaller panels - 7/8" W x 3-7/8" H
7)  Back Mini-Card Base (THICK Whisper White) - 2-7/8" W x 4" H
8) Bottom Mat on Mini Card (Crumb Cake) - 2-3/4" x 3-7/8"

CONGRATULATIONS VINTAGE DAISY CARD - from YouTube Live on Tuesday, 6/25/19
featuring Stampin' Up! products

This beautiful card was made to go along with some other crafty items for a Challenge/Giveaway entry on YouTube that I'll be participating in.  The recipient told me she likes Pink and Gold, and Vintage style, so I hope this card is to her liking.

Since we made this on the YouTube live, I won't go into the assembly here (you can watch the replay via the link below).  However, here are the sizes of the mats:

1)  A2 card base - 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4" and folded - Flirty Flamingo card stock
2)  Whisper White mat (embossed with Flirty Flamingo ink) - 5-1/4" x 4".
3) INSIDE:  Whisper White mat same size  - 5-1/4" x 4".

NOTE: Since this is "vintage-style", I edged all papers using the finger dauber with Crumb Cake ink (with the exception of the daisy flower).

Here's a link to the YouTube video and below that a list of all supplies with direct links to my Stampin' Up! web store.  I hope you'll consider shopping with me as your demonstrator!

This card we only modified a bit on the YouTube live, as I had already made it.  Here is how I made the girly birthday card:

1)  A2 Card Base in Flirty Flamingo card stock (8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4" and fold)
2) Brights Designer Series Paper (DSP) Mat - 5-1/4" x 4", using the Flirty Flamingo color with the diamond shaped pattern (from 2019-2020 catalog DSP)
3) Whisper White card stock mat = 5" x 3-3/4" - a) stamp the triple flower row using Flirty Flamingo Classic Stampin' Pad at the bottom of the Whisper White piece.  b) Using the floral die, cut out the design and it's outline from the Whisper White cardstock.  Keep the cut out piece.
4) Cut out the floral design again using Silver Foil Sheets.
5) Place the Whisper White sheet onto the DSP using Dimensionals.
6) Glue the cut out floral design onto the DSP being careful to line it up with the outline shape on the Whisper White card mat.
7) Glue the Silver Foil floral design on top of the Whisper White design in the same locaion, making the die cuts almost level with the card front again.
8) Using Flirty Flamingo card stock, die cut a Stitched Nested Label Die and place on the Whisper White card stock vertically (as shown), using Dimensionals
9) Use a scrap of the DSP and place horizontally across the Stitched Nested Label piece.
10) Using one of the smaller scalloped circles in the Layering Circles Dies, cut out of Whisper White Card Stock.
11) Stamp the sentiment from the Parcels & Petals Stamp Set onto the circle, and glue down on top the DSP strip on the Nested Label piece.
12) Apply One Flower Faceted Gem in the pink/coral color.
13) INSIDE:  Single Whisper White card mat 5-1/4" x 4".  Stamp a single flower the same shape as those in the triple row using Flirty Flamingo ink in the bottom right corner.  Glue the mat down.

I hope I've inspired you to make something similar!
