CASE-a-CARD Collaboration - February 5, 2021 - Darling Donkeys

Welcome to the second month of our CASE-a-CARD Collaboration which posts on YouTube throughout 2021. Each month a few of us on YouTube will be CASE'ing a card from a current Stampin' Up! catalog and sharing what we make.  We will post at 10:00 a.m. Eastern each month.  

Below is a picture of the card I made for February.  I CASE'd a masculine card on Page 33 of the Stampin' Up! 20-21 Annual Catalog, but made a cute card with the Sale-a-Bration stamp set called Darling Donkeys instead.  What inspired me was the way the wood grain papers were layered and the cat-o-nine tails from the Friendly Silhouette dies.  I used the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper from the 20-21 Annual Catalog by Stampin' Up!  All images copyright Stampin' Up!  Here is a picture of the card I made:

The supplies used may be found below.  Please note that the Darling Donkeys stamp set is a January to February Sale-a-Bration item, meaning you can only get it as a free item when spending $50 or more on other items either from the current 20-21 Annual Catalog, or the January to June 2021 Mini Catalog (both by Stampin' Up!), and only through February 2021.

SMASH OUR STASH COLLAB - JANUARY 2021 - Prompt: Use Washi Tape

 For 2021, I signed up for a collaboration on YouTube called Smash Our Stash, where each month on the 7th of the month at Noon Eastern, we post a video using a different item from our stash.  We are given prompts on what item(s) to use each month except two.  For those two, we can pick whatever we want to use.   For January, the prompt is Washi Tape.

Stampin' Up! currently doesn't have Washi Tape available.  However, I amassed quite a lot of it prior to joining Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator and it is still sitting in my home.  Therefore, I used a bit to make some cards and decorate my planner for next week.

Here is a picture of the cards made.  I did use Stampin' Up! products for the stamps, dies, punches, cardstock, specialty paper, tools, and embellishments.  Links to all the Stampin' Up! products used are at the bottom of this blog post.
