3D Peony Flowers for Mini Boxes and Cards

ft. Peony Garden Suite by Stampin' Up!

In my Saturday video this week, I feature the Peony Garden Suite of products, focusing primarily on the Peony Dies to make 3D Peony flowers to use as toppers on Mini Pizza Boxes (see previous blog post for photo from the Stuff It collab same day), as well as on cards.   I walk through how to make one of the flowers used on the Mini Pizza Boxes shown first in the Stuff It Collab video on my YouTube channel, and then another one used on a beautiful card, as shown below:

Also featured is one of the new 2020-2022 In Colors, which is Magenta Madness.  I've quickly grown to Love this new color!  It is so bright and vibrant; just gorgeous!

For dimensions of the Pizza Boxes and supplies used, please visit the blog post just prior to this one.  Card Dimensions for the card shown are as follows:
  • Thick Whisper White card base - A2 size (5-1/2" H x 4-1/4" W)
  • Basic Black Mat - 5-1/4" H x 4" W, and die cut a large circle out using either the Layering Circle Dies, or the Stitched Shape Dies.  Also, run this through the Dainty Diamond 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Use a 3" Square Vellum Doily, turned to shape a Diamond, as shown in the picture.
  • 3D Peony flower - Die Cut the 4 required flower pieces from Magenta Madness card stock.   Die Cut the Stamen from Basic Black Card Stock.
  • Whisper White Card Scrap for sentiment, die cut using the Tasteful Label dies.
