CARD 3 - Black and White Butterflies with a Pop of Color - February 5, 2019

Instructions:
Prepare all the cardstock as follows:
1) Basic Black - cut an 8-1/2" x 11" piece in half to result in a piece 8-1/2" x 5-1/2".
2) Score the Basic Black piece at 4-1/4" and fold in half to make the Card Base.
3) Daffodil Delight - Cut 2 mats 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" - one for outside and one for inside the card.
4) Whisper White - cut One mat for inside at 5" x 3-3.4".
5) Botanical Butterfly DSP - Cut a piece with black and white butterflies trying to cut around at least one whole larger butterfly. Size should be 5-1/4" x 3-7/8".
Color ONE of the large butterflies on the Botanical Butterflies Designer Series Paper with Stampin' Write markers in Daffodil Delight (out of the Many Marvelous Markers set) and Grapefruit Grove (out of the 2018-2010 In Color Stampin' Write markers set). Color the center of One flower (if desired) with Lemon-Lime Twist Stampin' Write marker. Apply Wink of Stella to the colored butterfly wings only.
Adhere the Daffodil Delight Mat to the Basic Black card base. Then adhere the DSP mat (just colored) to the Daffodil Delight Card Base.
Inside the card - Adhere the other Daffodil Delight mat to the Basic Black card base. Then adhere the Whisper White mat to the Daffodil Delight mat.
Using the In Flight Butterfly stamp from the Beauty Abounds Cling Stamp Set, stamp the image in the bottom right corner of the Whisper White mat inside the card with Tuxedo Black Ink.
Cut a smaller scallop out of Whisper White scrap paper, and a larger scallop out of Grapefruit Grove scrap paper. Glue the Whisper White circle to the Grapefruit Grove circle, trying to align the scallops.
Stamp the "Hello" sentiment from the Beauty Abounds stamp set in Daffodil Delight onto the Whisper White scallop circle.
Using dimensionals, adhere the Grapefruit Grove scallop circle to the Botanical Butterflies DSP pacing where it looks best given the placement of the colored butterfly.
Using the Butterfly Duet Punch, use the smallest butterflly to punch out one of the Grapefruit Grove (orange) colored butterflies from a piece of the DSP. Then, apply that using One glue dot to the upper edge of the scallop circles.
Adhere a Grapefruit Grove adhesive backed sequin from the Gingham Gala Adhesive Sequins (the circle one) under the sentiment on the Whisper White Scallop.
