I first made this card a few days ago when I was sharing tips on how to align the Path of Petals flowers and leaves over on my YouTube channel, Deb Houck's Crafty Cottage.  Two people requested that I do a tutorial for that card, so today I did the tutorial.  I'm sharing the dimensions and supplies list here on my blog as well.

Dimensions:

  1. Champagne Foil Sheets:
    • One 4" x 5-1/4" for the front
    • One 1" x 5-1/4" for inside the card
    • A scrap of the foil to die cut the fancy heart out with from the Be Mine Stitched hearts die set
  2. Gray Granite:
    • A2 card base of 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4", and folded
    • 2 pieces of 4" x 5-1/4", emboss both of these with the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder
  3. Whisper White:
    • One piece 4-1/2" high x 3-1/2" wide for inside car
    • One scrap to die cut the two-piece background heart out from the Be Mine Stitched hearts die set
    • One piece approximately 1/2" x 2-3/4" for sentiment
Instructions:
  1. Die cut the largest fancy oval shape from the Path of Petals bundle dies into the center of the 4" x 5-1/4" Champagne Foil piece.  This is the front focal piece. Carefully and slowly remove all the bits when removing from the die.  Save the piece that comes out - you can use that for Step 2.
  2. Die cut the fancy heart from the scrap of Champagne Foil sheet (see video).  Save the tiny heart that pops out from center bottom of heart for an embellishment.
  3. Die cut the border and fill hearts out of Whisper White card stock (see video for which hearts)
  4. Glue the two white pieces to the back of the Champagne Foil fancy heart.
  5. Run the two 4" x 5-1/4" Gray Granite pieces through the die cutting machine with the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder.
  6. Using the Stamparatus, stamp the sentiment for the inside of the card using Gray Granite Classic Stampin' Pad.
  7. Stamp the sentiment on the Whisper White 1/2" x 2-3/4" strip for front of card.  Flag the right side of it using the Triple Banner Punch.
  8. Card front:  Glue down one of the Eyelet Lace embossed Gray Granite pieces to the card front.  Then, using dimensionals, line up the Champagne Foil die cut oval piece over the Eyelet Lace piece.  Next, place the fancy heart in the center of the oval (glue down to Eyelet Lace piece).  Last, position the outside sentiment strip over the fancy heart with Dimensionals.  Glue down the little heart embellishment left from die cutting the fancy heart onto the left side of the strip.
  9. Inside Card:  Glue the Champagne Foil 1" wide strip onto the left side of the second Eyelet Lace embossed Gray Granite piece.  Glue the Eyelet Lace piece down to the inside card base. Then position the Whisper White inside sentiment piece (4-1/2" x 3-1/2") over both the eyelet piece and foil piece.
Your card is finished!  Pretty, right?
