Vintage Card featuring Very Vintage Host Stamp Set and Petals Promenade Designer Series Paper - for YouTube Collaboration 4/14/19

This card was made using Thick Very Vanilla 8-1/2 x 11" cardstock.  This was cut in half to have an 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece, which was scored at 4-1/4" and folded for the card base.

On the front of the card base, stamp off once each stamping using the vintage looking doily from the Very Vintage stamp set.  The idea is to make a background with this so stamp all over the card base front.

Next, using a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock, die cut the largest scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals die set, and with the next largest scalloped oval, cut a piece of the Petals Promenade Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Using a piece of sponge cut from the Sponges pack, ink up one side with Crumb Cake and "distress" around all the card edges and both of the scalloped ovals.

Stamp the Dear Friend sentiment from Very Vintage Host Stamp Set on a scrap of Very Vanilla and cut it into a strip.  Flag the right end of that.  Distress around the edges if you desire with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad and sponge.

Glue the Petals Promenade oval onto the Very Vanilla oval and then use Stampin' Dimensionals to pop them up onto the card base.  Using only one Stampin' Dimensional and some liquid glue, position the Dear Friend stamped sentiment towards the bottom right of the ovals.

Next, cut two strips of the Lace Trim in Very Vanilla to 4-1/4" wide and place at the top and the bottom of the card with the scalloped edge facing towards the scalloped ovals (as opposed to the edge of the card).

Using another scrap of Very Vanilla, stamp the sentiment for the inside of the card, using Crumb Cake.  I used the sentiment "One of the best things in life is You".  Cut this scrap into a square, and round the edges using the Detailed Trio Punch.  Next, stamp off twice using the vintage doily from the Very Vintage set and make a faint background on this square.  Distress the edges with the sponge.  Glue down the inside sentiment.
