MASCULINE VALENTINE'S DAY CARD 3
featuring Heartfelt Bundle by Stampin' Up! from YouTube live stream January 21, 2020
The final card from my Tuesday evening YouTube Live Stream went a little bit of a different direction. Instead of using the Country Club Designer Series Paper, I decided to pull two patterns from the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper, which features the colors of Real Red and Flirty Flamingo. I pulled one foiled piece and one non-specialty piece. In choosing the papers, I tried to pick some patterns that weren't too girly, and really could be used for either Masculine or Feminine cards (in my opinion). Here's what I came up with:

Here are the dimensions, which took me a little while to figure out for the front of the card:
- Read Red Card Stock Base - 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4", turned horizontally, plus scrap for punching scalloped heart on front of card
- Whisper White Card Stock
- Bottom Front = 1-1/8" H x 5-3/8" W
- 3 Top Front Pieces = 2-7/8" H x 1-1/2" W
- Inside Mat = 5-1/4" x 4"
- Cut largest non-scalloped circle using the Layering Circle Dies.
- Scrap for stamping and punching heart on front of card
- From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper
- Bottom Front = 1" H x 5-1/4" W
- 3 Top Front Pieces = 2-3/4" H x 1-3/8" W
- Inside Strip = 1" W x 4" H
The trickiest part of this entire card is figuring out the spacing for the pieces on the front. So, what I did is laying the card horizontally, put a pencil mark at 1/4", 1-3/4", 2", 3-1/2", 3-3/4", and 5-1/4".
You'll line up the Whisper White pieces starting left to right at the 1/4", 2" and 3-3/4" marks. It works out beautifully.
