featuring Cup of Christmas bundle (stamps and dies) and Night Before Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up!

On Part 2 of my YouTube live from September 3rd (linked below), I shared how to make this adorable Cup of Christmas card, and shared some tips on using the brand new Reversible photopolymer cup stamps!  Love these!!  Here is a picture of the first card, which was based on Whisper White card stock.

This cute card is a standard A2 (8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4" and opens on the right).  The card base is Poppy Parade card stock.   The adorable paper with hot cocoa and chocolate chip cookies is from the Night Before Christmas Designer Series Paper 6" x 6".  The front mat is 5-3/8" x 4-1/8".  Save the pieces you cut off and use a strip on the inside of the card.  Also cut a Whisper White mat for the inside at 5-1/4" x 4".

For the cups, using the 2 reversible stamps from the Cup of Christmas photopolymer stamp set, and coordinating Cup of Cheer dies, stamp 2 of the striped cups in Poppy Parade ink (with one using the front of the stamp, and one using the reversible back of the stamp so that the handles face opposite directions), and 1 of the polka dot cups in Crumb Cake ink.

Assembly:
  • Wrap the gold and white tinsel trim from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley around the Designer Series Paper (DSP) mat 3 times in the center of the card, as shown in picture.  I tacked this down with snail on the back, but reinforced later with glue.
  • Glue down the DSP mat with trim on it to the Poppy Parade card front.
  • Layout your cups how you want them to stack up.  Glue the top cup down to the DSP mat.  Then pop the middle cup up on dimensionals at a different angle than the top cup.  Last, place the bottom cup up on dimensionals, but add a little bit of glue where it overlaps onto the middle cup.
  • Die cut 3 bows from the Cup of Cheer dies - one each in Poppy Parade, Whisper White, and Gold Foil and glue them together with the Gold Foil layer on top.  Glue in upper left corner of DSP, or wherever you would like the bow.
  • Stamp the sentiment from Cup of Christmas stamp set using Poppy Parade ink on Whisper White.  The Whisper White strip measures 1/2" x 4-1/8".  Glue the Whisper White sentiment onto a strip of Crumb Cake card stock measuring 7/8" x 4-1/4".  Put the assembled sentiment strips onto the bottom of the card, slightly overlapping the bottom cup, using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Inside, cut a strip of DSP approximately 1/2" x 5-1/4" and glue it onto the Whisper White card mat that is 5-1/4" x 4", on the left side.  Glue the Whisper White mat down to the Poppy Parade card base.  Your card is done!
