GLEAMING ORNAMENTS - Card 1

from September 9, 2019 YouTube Live

I wanted to have a play with the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack that I had purchased separately (not in the bundle), along with the Memories of Home Stamp Set that coordinates with the smaller of the two ornament punches.  Since I didn't have a stamp for the larger ornament, I decided to use Copper Foil Sheets to cut one out, but first I took a piece of Copper Foil and ran it through my die cut machine in the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder with great results.   Here is the card:

The card base in Pretty Peacock is a standard A2 (8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored and folded at 4-1/4").  The base mat is from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper that has copper foiling on the ornament designs.  This is cut to 5-1/4" H x 4" W.   The copper foiled rectangle mat is 3" W x 3-5/8" H, and was embossed using the 3D Hammered Metal Embossing Folder.  I used this mat to punch the larger ornament from the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack (2 punches).  Then I layered a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock that is 2-3/4" W x 3-1/2" H over the copper foil piece and glued it down.

Next I stamped the smaller ornaments from the Memories of Home stamp set using Versamark, and heat embossed them using Copper Embossing Powder.  I colored them in using Stampin' Blends in Pretty Peacock (light and dark), Mossy Meadow (light and dark), and Mango Melody (Dark).  Then I punched them out.  Last I assembled the foiled ornament and the two stamped ornaments on the Pretty Peacock rectangle and glued them down.

Now for the sentiment.  This was from the Memories of Home stamp set and stamped on Very Vanilla using Pretty Peacock ink.  The Very Vanilla strip is approximately 7/8" H x 3-1/4" W.  I used the Triple Banner Punch to flat the right side.  Then, layered the Very Vanilla strip on a strip of Pretty Peacock card stock measuring approximately 1" H x 4: W.  I also flagged this strip.  Then glued the Very Vanilla piece onto the Pretty Peacock piece and bumped the sentiment piece up on Stampin' Dimensionals.

Last, I added 3 Holiday Rhinestones in Pretty Peacock to the card (2 on the sentiment strip and one on the Pretty Peacock rectangle).

Inside, just a piece of plain Very Vanilla sized 5-1/4" x 4".  You could add a strip of DSP if you'd like, or stamp an ornament in a corner or a few across the top to make your card really stand out!
